Baloo came to us about six months ago looking for a warm place to stay. At the time we were fostering another kitten but didn’t have the heart to leave him outside so eventually started providing food and water. After our foster kitten was rehomed, we began fostering Baloo full-time and his personality blossomed. He is incredibly affectionate with big, beautiful green eyes and a lovely personality. After taking him to the vet for a routine check-up and flea treatment we found that he had been previously microchipped and neutered, suggesting he was once with a family but for an unknown reason became separated. He now lives in our neighbourhood in NW London and as the weather has improved comes by every day for food and a cuddle but otherwise prefers the outdoors. We have tried to keep Baloo inside 24/7 but he is very accustomed to his life outside and we feel that it is important he continue to have indoor/outdoor access. We have consulted with the neighbours but no one has laid claim to him during the nearly six months in which we’ve been providing care. We feel that if he can find his next forever home, he would truly transform and not have to face the stresses of moving from house to house for protection or resources. Such a loving cat deserves a loving home, and we hope that he can find a good match!
