He is a fascinating cat. He is the most polite and, 99% of the time, the most well behaved cat I have lived with. [For reference, I have lived with, for extended periods of time, more than 15 cats and have known many others well.] He checks to see if the chair/surface is allowed before settling down and remembers areas he has been discouraged from using. He is very playful. Especially for a cat of his age. He chases balls, feathers, ribbons and his little toy stuffed mouse. In the morning after breakfast he likes to race around the flat as fast as he can go. He is very handsome and is fastidious about his grooming.

However, underneath, he is clearly still very wary and suspicious of humans and probably other animals as well. This suspicion may takes months to undo but he clearly wants to please. I believe his wariness is at the bottom of his very irregular aggressive behaviour. Given the unsettled life of late, much of this is to be expected. I believe that with time and careful rebuilding of trust, he has the capacity to lose this and be a great companion.

He has becomes increasingly interested in going outside. The best home for him would be a very large house or one with access to a garden.
