All the adult cats in our foster care will have been vet checked, neutered, vaccinated, deflead, wormed & microchipped by the time they are rehomed. Kittens of 9 weeks are rehomed with a 1st vaccination and will have had a full vaccination course if rehomed at 13 weeks. For cats under 6 months we need you to agree to get them neutered and microchipped by 6 months of age.
Our adoption fees are £125 for a single kitten under 6 months, £200 for a pair of kittens under 6 months, £120 for an adult cat and £90 for cats of 10 years and over. We rehome cats as indoor only if they have a disability, are FIV or FeLV positive or are at least 10 years old and show no more interest in going outside.
When applying to adopt a cat, please put the name of the cat in the subject line of your email. If your enquiry is more general and you are looking for a type of cat, for instance an older cat, an indoor only cat, a cat with a disability or special needs, or a pair of cats or kittens, please put this in the subject line.
Minnie
Minnie
Minnie is a sweet, elderly girl. At 20 years old she still has a lot of love left to give, and will happily come when called for pets and especially chin rubs. Other than that she just asks for food, shelter, and a nice comfy couch to sleep on, ideally with a little stool or a box next to it so she can climb up and down more easily.
Due to her age she does need a little extra help – a monthly vet visit for an injection of Solentia manages her arthritis, and she is also getting a few over-the-counter supplements in her wet food. She walks well and climbs up and down on the couch, but hasn’t really shown any inclination to jump.
She is also a bit particular with her litterbox habits since she stands to pee and quite a bit of the urine will land outside. Puppy pads on a tiled floor right next to the box work well as an easy solution for that, but the area needs to be kept quite clean (ie the pads swapped out regularly) to avoid stressing her out.
Minnie is a really friendly cat who takes to new people easily. She is a little skittish when it comes to loud noises or sudden movements, so would be best off in a calm, quiet home, without other pets and with someone who is mostly home during the day.
