All the adult cats in our foster care will have been vet checked, neutered, vaccinated, deflead, wormed & microchipped by the time they are rehomed. Kittens of 9 weeks are rehomed with a 1st vaccination and will have had a full vaccination course if rehomed at 13 weeks. For cats under 6 months we need you to agree to get them neutered and microchipped by 6 months of age.
Our adoption fees are £125 for a single kitten under 6 months, £200 for a pair of kittens under 6 months, £120 for an adult cat and £90 for cats of 10 years and over. We rehome cats as indoor only if they have a disability, are FIV or FeLV positive or are at least 10 years old and show no more interest in going outside.
When applying to adopt a cat, please put the name of the cat in the subject line of your email. If your enquiry is more general and you are looking for a type of cat, for instance an older cat, an indoor only cat, a cat with a disability or special needs, or a pair of cats or kittens, please put this in the subject line.
Gwenny
Gwenny
Gwen is a small, quiet, affectionate and loving cat. She was the smallest in her litter and has always remained smaller than average cat. However she has a heart of gold and it does not stop her living her best life.
She loves relaxing in her cat trees, but also enjoys play with her wand toys, and balls. She will sit on your lap and let you stroke her until she falls asleep - once you've taken the time to gain her trust that is.
She needs to be brushed with a cat brush to de-shed her fur as she is a long hair cat. She enjoy this grooming - as long as treats are involved.
Gwen is quite anxious when it comes to noises and new people. She is not keen on sudden loud noises, such as the door buzzer, and goes and hides under the sofa and will only come out when she feels its completely safe to do so. She has always been this way since she was young. When she feels its safe to emerge again she will come and say hi, and is very friendly with all kinds of people, children and adults.
Gwen is not a very vocal cat, she doesn't miaow much at all but she communicates with you by sitting and looking at you adorably until you get her whats she wants.
Gwen would enjoy a quiet, calm home, as an indoor cat. She is quite vulnerable due to her size so really needs someone who has a lot of love to give and is happy to protect her always.
