All the adult cats in our foster care will have been vet checked, neutered, vaccinated, deflead, wormed & microchipped by the time they are rehomed. Kittens of 9 weeks are rehomed with a 1st vaccination and will have had a full vaccination course if rehomed at 13 weeks. For cats under 6 months we need you to agree to get them neutered and microchipped by 6 months of age.
Our adoption fees are £125 for a single kitten under 6 months, £200 for a pair of kittens under 6 months, £120 for an adult cat and £90 for cats of 10 years and over. We rehome cats as indoor only if they have a disability, are FIV or FeLV positive or are at least 10 years old and show no more interest in going outside.
When applying to adopt a cat, please put the name of the cat in the subject line of your email. If your enquiry is more general and you are looking for a type of cat, for instance an older cat, an indoor only cat, a cat with a disability or special needs, or a pair of cats or kittens, please put this in the subject line.
Nutmeg
Nutmeg
Nutmeg was handed over to Feline Friends in March after being advertised for free on a bus stop. She is a very friendly and inquisitive young cat. She has a gentle and affectionate nature, and she loves company and cuddles. She is a lap cat when she finds the time to keep still for long enough. She will appear from nowhere if she thinks there is a hint of fun to be had, so much so that she can be quite a trip hazard! When she isn't sleeping, she goes about her business with the energy of Sonic the Hedgehog. She is incredibly agile and has managed to find herself in some surprisingly precarious situations.
Nutmeg has become great friends with the other foster cats in the house and likes to play chase. Socially Nutmeg is a real live wire and would benefit from the company of another gregarious, confident cat to make sure she is sufficiently stimulated. She also enjoys human company and would be an ideal cat for a family with children, who could give her the company she needs.
She is adored instantly by everyone who meets her. We have no doubt that she will continue to charm everyone in her new home.
