All the adult cats in our foster care will have been vet checked, neutered, vaccinated, deflead, wormed & microchipped by the time they are rehomed. Kittens of 9 weeks are rehomed with a 1st vaccination and will have had a full vaccination course if rehomed at 13 weeks. For cats under 6 months we need you to agree to get them neutered and microchipped by 6 months of age.
Our adoption fees are £125 for a single kitten under 6 months, £200 for a pair of kittens under 6 months, £120 for an adult cat and £90 for cats of 10 years and over. We rehome cats as indoor only if they have a disability, are FIV or FeLV positive or are at least 10 years old and show no more interest in going outside.
When applying to adopt a cat, please put the name of the cat in the subject line of your email. If your enquiry is more general and you are looking for a type of cat, for instance an older cat, an indoor only cat, a cat with a disability or special needs, or a pair of cats or kittens, please put this in the subject line.
Shane
Shane
Shane is approximately 5 years old. He is playful and curious, independent and adventurous. He has possibly been living outside for a long while and not been 'owned' by anyone, but is friendly and appreciative of food.
He can get a bit overexcited with cuddles/overstimulation and gets a little bit bitey, but he is learning to be gentle. Unsure if he is okay with other cats - we have not tried to introduce him to others, same with dogs.
He was abandoned at our practice, most likely by the owner. All the nurses have taken turns in caring for him.
